MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ARTWORK MEASURES UP –
It is important that your advertisement is right. To do a good job securing you more business, your artwork should be designed to stand out. Our artwork designers can design adverts with maximum impact for your business.
- How experienced are the business I.e. how long have you been established
- What makes you stand out from other companies (unique selling points)
- Completeness of service…. is there anything else that you offer (after care service etc)
- Opening hours – hours of service
- Important to include an illustration, a picture paints a thousand words and is your most effective tool so it’s really important that we select the correct illustration for you
- Where are you based… I.e. the fact that you’re so local will hold you in fantastic stead

To help you get the best from your advertising, we offer professionally created artwork from our in-house design team. Just decide on your images and copy content and we will do the rest.
SUPPLYING YOUR OWN ARTWORK –
If you wish to produce your own advertisements, please ensure you adhere to our specifications.
SUPPLYING ARTWORK
- Supplying Digital Camera Images
In order to ensure the best possible reproduction of your images in your advertisement, we would recommend the use of digital photography.
These images should ideally be sent to us on cd, with a minimum resolution of 300dpi, in JPEG or TIFF format. (Resolution = picture quality).
- Supplying Hard Copy Images
Should you only have hard copy versions of these images, we would be able to scan these for you but the quality of your artwork would suffer as a result.
Again if you are supplying us with the scans they should have a minimum resolution of 300dpi, in JPEG OR TIFF format.
- Supplying Logos
Please make sure that all logos are created as EPS files with all fonts OUTLINED.
- Supplying your own Artwork
All adverts should be set to A3 size, and supplied as a high resolution press ready file, with 5mm bleed all around. If the advert contains a holder the following sizes should be taken into consideration.

A5 Holder
Portrait 155 x 159mm
DL Leaflet Holder
